excellent quality for the price point, no more or no less backlash etc in the gearing than many other "higher quality" units that i have looked at and also used, few of the edges on the machined surfaces needed a lick with a file to reduce the sharp edges to my liking, and i found the jaws in the chuck a bit snug initially, so upon removal all surfaces were deburred and improved their function dramatically, but that is just a caution thing as i will be using it to teach a junior and want to minimise the risks as they are learning and still have 'electrician soft' hands.. certainly recommend this unit to anyone looking to add to their arsenal, and the delivery speed was fantastic. can't beat the quality for this price bracket considering the competitors pricing for the exact same size unit is almost triple the price!! even without the postage, so the half an hour spent deburring some fluffy edges makes it streets ahead in my book.

I was pleasantly surprised to the quality of the dividing head. I haven't checked the accuracy yet with a Sign Bar, but will report later if inaccurate. The grinding / finish is pretty good, but as all off shore tools the de-burr had to be done. Stoned off all the sharp edges. The 3 Jaw has a runout of .003 which is respectable for the price.

That this item is even available for this price, with a 5" chuck, blows my mind. Be aware it's a pretty substantial chuck of metal, feels like about 40lbs but I haven't bothered to weigh it, so if you're putting it on a mini mill like I did it's going to eat half your table. Worked like a champ out of the box with no cleaning so far, so apparently I got lucky, although I haven't had the chance to do the gear cutting I bought it to do so that still may be necessary. Even if it is I don't care, totally 5 stars.

Decided I needed a rotary table for my knee mill. This dividing head/indexer was a great investment. Very handy and accurate. I used it to repair a damaged steel involute gear. the ability to lock in the indexer makes quick work of simple divisions, while the dividing plates really can break it down. Was easy to setup, although I did have to lap the mounting keys to fit in my t-slots. Which was actually a good thing because it fits so perfectly, being hand fitted, that it is easy to remove and reinstall with very little effort.

Great Value, runout was only .0003 . Chuck was taken apart and metal chips cleaned out and deburred.

I was surprised how heavy it was for the size. I'm very happy with this unit and the chuck will fit on my older lathe too. That's a double surprise also and Wow what a deal too. Thanks for the indexer. Just wish I knew who to contact for parts or explaining of the manual that came with it. It has most of the calulations worked out but doesn't explain the letter and other numbers on the bottom of the grafts.

This was a wonderful purchase. The tool works extremely well and after a small adjustment for backlash I was set. I was blown away by the quality and finish. The guides for the slots on my milling machine table fit perfectly. The indexing marks are etched very nicely. I would recommend this very well made tool very highly!
