This product worked great for me! I planned my soil samples for a day after it rained. A must, in my opinion, in Tennessee soil. My only complaint was that the plunger would not expel the soil. I had to manually dig it out from the side slot to get it started, then the plunger worked fine. However, the soil was very wet, almost muddy in some areas so I can partly blame this on the suction created by the mud. However, I don’t think I could get it into the soil if it was completely dry. Wasn’t a del breaker for me - still made it much easier than digging with a shovel.
