Can't beat it for the price. the horn will need some dressing to smooth out some cast marks, but it's hard, has good rebound and is unbeatable for the price.

This is a very nice anvil for less than 2 bucks a pound. 66 pounds isn't too big and it isn't too small. It's the perfect size for me. I'm mainly going to use this for flattening out nails and rods (which I have only done so far), but I'd like to get into blacksmithing at some point. Since I'm learning how to weld right now, I don't need a new hobby. I built a stand out of wood with rubber padding at bottom, silicone, and chained it down. It has made the ring deaden and sounds really quiet for an anvil, though it is obviously louder at both ends. The edges come sharp, so you will need to grind the edges down and make them round. My only gripe (like others have shown) is the pritchel hole is defected, but since I only will use it ocassionally with a holdfast, I'm not too worried about it. I love it.

The product itself is flawless, the packaging was terrible. It came in two boxes taped together, with an insane amount of tape. One box was a north face box. it was all banged up and was just a mess of tape. Great anvil though love the brand.

This is the real deal. Solid quality, affordable price. You want to get started blacksmithing on a budget? Get this anvil.

Arrived in great shape. Zero complaints here from a master armourer of over 30 years experience. These are not the junk-iron anvils that were so prevalent from overseas. Get one, if only to stick it away for the future. I might even get another at this price, which I'm still in disbelief of. The only downside is the packaging, as they should reenforce it better, but it got here safely.

Good value and price point for the item. Perfect for beginner blacksmiths. I had reservations regarding the quality of the item, but it seems hardy and sturdy enough after I used it several times.

The price with shipping was crazy low. This is a decent, usable anvil almost perfect for a beginner like me. My only complaint is the absence of Hady and Pritchel holes.

Time tested shape. Has a handy square hole for bending or removing shafts from gears or pullie.
