Value was excellent with what equated to a 47% discount on a 100 Watt fibre laser engraver.
Quality is also great, with only the gantry to assemble using the supplied eight cap screws; and connecting a few cables.
Features are standard for this type of machine, with manually adjustable laser head height, rather than motorised, which I prefer to get fine adjustment. The software provides the real features, which is a third party product thrown in (EZCAD 2); My setup uses LightBurn 1.7 on a Linux O.S. using the configuration files supplied with EZCAD 2 on a USB thumb drive that came with the machine, so no problems so far.
Ease of use rating only gets three stars from me because I think anyone without a good knowledge of laser technology, including control systems, software & configuration parameters will encounter a steep learning curve; time & patience will be the key to their success.
If you want a machine out-of-the-box with simple controls, integrated design software and one button operation, this is NOT the machine for you, but if you're a hobbyist with patience and a penchant for tinkering with technology (and a pocketful of spare cash), go for it.
