We made a whole lot of buttons for our 50th class reunion! So much fun and pretty easy to use. The only thing is there were poor to no instructions included, but watched a couple of YouTubes and that did the trick. Very durable.

This thing is heavy, get your fingers in the wrong place at the right time and you mash something real good. Makes plastic back buttons like a champ and it came with about 50 of those sets. To make metal back buttons you must insert a rubber washer on the back side. Two come with the machine, I do not know if both are required to make buttons, but graphic stock thickness makes a difference on success rate of crimp. It comes with 100 pieces of round paper, I do not know why, they are blank. If you are artistically inclined, I guess you have a 3" opportunity to create by hand original graphics for your buttons.

Although I thought I was going to have to build it myself from parts, it showed up mostly all assembled. Only the handle needed to be screwed on. I will try to add a video later on how it works because I figured out where everyone keeps going wrong in the reviews. After ruining two buttons, I watched a ton of videos of people using it and realized the metal peg was not supposed to go through the hole in the first step. Next, a few buttons were ruined by thickness of paper. You cannot use just printer paper alone or it's likely to fall apart down the line. You also can't use too thick or the metal plate in the button will bend/ break beyond use. If you messed up a few times like me and have buttons you only used thin printer paper in, you can use a hard flat surface (that you don't care about scratching) to fold the metal edge on the back of the button more secure similar to a pie tin folding over the lid. There's not much else you can do to salvage those mistake pins. I find a lot of reviews are blaming the machine for user error. The instructions are not so clear, but YouTube is packed with instructions that are. We have more resources than the past generations all in the palm of our hands ... Use it. Lastly it came suuuppeerrr early. I'm not saying that's the universal experience, but don't plan travel arrangements before the delivery date. Purchase when you know you'll be home to take it inside.

This is an awesome 75mm button machine that’s versatile for making photo buttons. There’s a special removable plastic washer/ring enabling the machine to use metal or plastic backings. I recommend using the plastic backing for photo type paper. The button parts are affordable, and you must order 75mm diameter parts, the size is similar to 3 inch diameter but 3 inches = 76.2mm. You must use the 75mm button parts which you can purchase on Vevor. The machining is high-quality with an anodized and chrome finish, it’s a great value at an excellent price. It’s feast to use a kid 10+ years can easily master its operation. Perfect for starting a button business.

I have 4 of the Vevor-style button makers. They work great. I like the rotating ones better than the slide ones but I can't find the base plates for the dies to make them swappable so I keep buying new machines. Once you get the procedure down, you can reliably crimp 100 buttons without a failure.Important information: There are metric and inch machines and parts. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE! If it says "75mm", the 3" is just there to help you understand the size. You MUST buy 75mm buttons. The same is true for 58mm and the other metric machines.Most of the metric dies are set up for plastic buttons. The backs are thinner on the metal buttons so you need a thin gasket in the die for metal backs.They can be finicky about the paper thickness. Try different papers. The standard one that works is Espon 27lb matte presentation paper.Don't try to cut the paper with scissors. You will fail. A cheap plastic circle cutter is OK for a few buttons. For many buttons, either get a punch dedicated to the correct size or use a craft cutter like a Cricut or Silhouette with the print and cut feature.These machines could easily be operated by a 6 year old. Teach a kid to make buttons and magnets and they will have fun for hours.
