This is a great little machine. I prefer this tabletop bandsaw over those with the stand, because it fitted my space requirements better and also seems to be easier to clean - a friend has a similar bandsaw on a stand and there seem to be many screws that need to be undone to clean his machine. The machine works perfectly well for even some larger cuts of meat, though you'll need to rotate the cut so the larger side is on the right and not constrained by the machine opening (also noted by another reviewer). For example, removing the chine bones from a large hogget loin or cutting a rib section in half was no problem (with the right rotation). However, the machine is too small to split a full lamb rib cage down the spine; you'll need to remove the rib ends first with a handsaw.
Adjusting of the blade tension is straight forward and the large turning knob at the top works well and provides a better grip than the smaller wheels on some machines. There isn't any guidance on how tight to tension the blade, though it ships tensioned, so use this as a guide.
As noted above, cleaning is pretty easy, though watch out for some sharp edges inside the housing. It's a little difficult to clean behind the two large wheels (drive and guide wheel) that move the band, but a reasonable job can still be achieved (and they are non-contact surfaces of the blade). The cutting table can be removed using two screws.
The unit is reasonably heavy (30+kg), which it needs to be to ensure a stable cutting platform.
I have used this unit to cut frozen meat & bone pieces as well as butcher hoggets and pigs.
Unless you only want to cut (frozen) steaks or split some bones in half for the dogs, I would strongly recommend this unit with the larger cutting thickness.

I bought this bandsaw for butchering our home-kill lamb for the freezer. It is certainly fit-for-purpose but it would be better if the depth and height of cut was a bit greater. It sits on a 600mm high table beside my cutting table to bring the bandsaw deck up to standard bench height. The bandsaw opens up satisfactorily to allow for cleaning following meat processing.

Its power is adequate. You need to confirm the height of the pig, the height of the machine is 250mm. If the pig is too tall it won't fit.
