light weight easy

I had planned on building a canopy over the steps for a long time. This canopy is not much more expensive than a self design and a whole lot faster and easier. Be careful to measure the spacing of the mounting holes accurately and all goes smoothly. It is very light and works great to keep rain from the top of the steps ad provides a bit of shading. No sure how well it will do under heavy snow loads but the supports, made of a type of plastic and are very light, appear to be very strong so I am not anticipating any problems.

Ask other reviewers has mentioned, it was pretty difficult even with two people. We had a team of three it was able to install it which took us about two and a half hours. To ensure the longevity of the awning, I went out and bought about three cans of plastic primer and sprayed it both on top and bottom to ensure the plastic will last at least 2 years plus from the UV sunlight. Other than that it held great during windy Weathers
