Now that I have been through a winter with this door awning, I am happy to report that it has worked wonderfully! We had quite a bit of snow and I was a little worried that when it came off my roof, it would break this awning…. It did not! I was honestly shocked! I don’t normally write reviews like this, but I was pretty impressed with the price and the quality of this awning!

I decided to try one of these covers over the wall in door of my shop not expecting much, I have been more than pleased with the way this awning is holding up even though some pretty strong storms, limbs falling on it and not sun fading. I will for sure be getting more and larger ones to install in other areas.

I think I got the 40 inch one. it's sturdy enough but constant high winds might break it. we've had several heavy snowfalls so far and it's held up well. I'll bet there was 50 or 60 lbs on it a few times so far.
very easy to assemble and install if you have some basic tools and a cordless drill.
