Works good only thing level wind binds up some

I like it, work's well. But the hole to lock the handle is to big, I use a bigger lock pin to make it stiffer...

After my 10 year old hose reel rusted and split apart and was not repairable, I thought I would try out this Vevor Hose Reel. The unit seems fairly well made as the welds look decent. Will see how it stands up to a Manitoba winter. The reel takes all of my 100 foot 5/8 rubber hose easily. If only this reel could last as long as this hose has ( 45 years ) .The only issue is because my hose is so flexible, it does kink at the point where is attaches to the supply line. A washing machine elbow solved the problem. This handle on this reel can be reversed even though the instructions only show the handle on the right side and make no mention of the fact it can be changed.

bought approx one month ago . Love it so far, but a problem appeared yesterday . The pipe carrying the water , is part of the axle and simply screwed into one end of the axle . It has slowly, unnoticed ,untightened itself and leaked profusely . I re-screwed it tightly and solved the problem , but I expect that it will happen again . I noticed this weakness in the design when I assembled the unit , and deliberately screwed it on tight . The brass T fitting needs a "locked" feature to prevent it from "unscrewing" itself from the axle . I love it otherwise .

We have been through three hose reels over the years on our farm and this is by far the best.

Good durable product

This really is a quality product! All metal construction. Very sturdy. My old one broke where the hose hooks up to the wheel which was plastic. This one has all metal connections. The price is great especially when compared to the competition. Assembly was a little tricky but not bad at all. You can tell this company cares about it's workers and it's customers by the way this product was packaged. It sounds like a minor detail and one I usually don't pay much attention too but it was professionally done. I hooked it up today and was very pleased using it. Highly recommended!
