Doesn't hold 125 foot of 5/8 hose without jamming up at the last 10 feet or so. The brass connector loosens up on the hose side when reeling in the hose causing a leak.

The rotational design is pretty flawed - rather than all components rotating on a single axis, several pieces connect together to form the axis which creates multiple points that can buckle or bend under the weight of the hose as the reel rotates. They way in which the hose connects to the reel is faulty and causes a pinch in the hose since the connection point is outside the reel. also the connection point for your hose is very tight and difficult to get a good seal without leaking. The hole pattern is pretty bad too, as a couple of the holes site behind other components of the reel making it difficult or impossible to align the anchor and/or tool to drive the anchor. i had to get some different anchors in order to make it work. This also says it fits a 125ft of 5/8" hose - however my hose is 100ft and if barely fits (even when all water is drained out)

I bought 3 of these for around my house. 1 of them had the bushings circles welded on so bad the drum wouldn’t even turn without the frame flexing back and forth. The other 2 units still worked, but almost all the threads were press fit in crooked and very difficult to thread in the bolts without stripping. Also there are no washers for the bolts, why?! One other annoying thing is the basket doesn’t mount correctly because the bolts that hold it protrude out the back and would cause the whole thing to not sit flush against the wall. Not very happy with this product, but since I already mounted them I’ll just keep them.

It works as it should. Was pretty easy to assemble. Not sure how it will hold up. When I was assembling the unit I noticed one of the side wheels was bent out of shape and the welds looked a bit week. Also you will want to use your own anchors to fasten to the wall.

It is not as strong as it claims to be; we'll see how it holds up against corrosion.

The connector fittings are for USA and don't fit the standard Australian garden tap. Makes it time consuming and inconvenient to fit. Starting to show some rust after 6 weeks

Hose reel is made of quality materials. Serves the purpose of a quality real for a budget friendly cost. The only issue is the 90° bend connecting to the faucet from the reel spins as you reel the hose. This implication was briefly solved with zip ties. This eventually led to the reel spinning off of the reel bracket causing the reel to fall off. Not sure if I installed the product correctly. The instructions are very vague, which I believe led to this implication. Essentially, buy cheap, get cheap.

Item is very strong. While it is heavy, it was easy to attached to the siding of my home, although it comes with expanding bolts for use in concrete only, so I used long wood screws to attach it. My only issue is the way the short hose connects to the hose bib and to the unit. You have to tighten it down to stop any leaks, but when you spin the wheel to take the hose off or to roll it back on, it also rolls the short hose attachment, so after about one crank, you have to roll the short hose to the hose bib back as well. In the long run, I wanted a strong, weatherproof unit to get my hose off of the ground and have a way to crank it in without kinking the hose and this unit does that. It is just a little pain to have to unkink that small hose when you use the wheel. Best thing to do is to unhook that short hose from the hose bib until you’ve pulled off all of the hose you need or are finished winding it up on the wheel, then connect it back to the hose bib. ,

Could not get it to stop leaking

Arrived with missing parts. Vevor was quick to correct issue.. the problem with this model is the way your hose attaches to the reel. It gets kinked, and you have to pull off the entire hose when you want to use it even if you only want 10 feet.
