I bought two of these. The first one I bought had a horrible gasoline smell and appeared used/damaged. I returned it and re-ordered and the next one was fine but smelled awful too - and for a long time. The last one was in good condition and had a faint odor the went away within one day.These ramps serve the purpose as I have a screened in gazebo with doors and a threshold that one can trip over when going in and out. I gave five stars because the ramps stay in place and function as needed.

This is the perfect size, shape, height for our front door threshold and my mom's wheel chair seems to just float over the rubber and out the door. It feels like magic compared to the push, pull ordeal before we got the ramp.However, it smells. It should really be marketed for outdoor use. I have kept it outdoors and drag it inside when we use it, and drag it back out on the porch when done. It is heavy- which is good, it stays in place, but not so easy to move like this. After almost 6 months on the front porch, it still smells. The claim that the recycled rubber has less off-gassing is misleading, as it continues to smell. Even sitting outside on the porch, near the ramp, you can smell it.I would NOT recommend for indoor use. They should take this same mold and make it with PVC.Would be perfect. There are no perfect options for those making a house more walker and wheelchair friendly.We are keeping it, because we have no choice, we passed the return date waiting for it to stop off-gassing. All rubber will off-gas like this, so it is not a defect. It is just misleading marketing. And, it is actually very good except for the fumes.

In my home I have two rooms that are a step down and step up,. In 1989 when we built our home I had had plans for several years and sulken rooms were popular. Anyway now that I’m older with a Walker I had to find something that would help me besides me trying to pick the Walker up. Theses Heavy Duty Rubber Ramps are Great and will last for my life time !!

This ramp allows my wife to exit our home safely. It is heavy and very sturdy. I would recommend it highly for any outdoor applications.

purchased for parent's sliding glass door. Wheelchair easily rolls over threshold from house out onto back patio with ease. Heavy duty does not shift/move. Does not have a strong rubber smell as other threshold ramps were said to have.

This is an excellent ramp for getting my mom out of the house in her wheelchair. It's made of a thick, durable rubber that is a bit heavy for a senior woman to carry, but you don't have to worry about it shifting as you ride over it because it stays in place outside the door. This was definitely a good buy for a much needed piece of equipment.

I own a small business and several people had tripped at my threshold despite yellow signs, and other warnings I provided.Someone recommended I find one of these, and this one stays in place and fits perfectly.I feel like my entryway is a much safer place now.

Outstanding! I expected to buy the stainless bolts and mollies at my local hardware store......but to my surprise they were included. Total installation time.....less than 30 minutes

Installed in about 15 mins. Son-in-law has a drill for concrete that worked. Checked Leslie's and some other pool suppliers. Looked the same for twice the price.

It took me a while to write this because I was waiting on it being fitted before leaving a review. This particular hand rail is longer than most which is exactly what I wanted so I could use it from the pool up the three steps, most hand rails would have meant struggling with the bottom step, this doesn't. It is perfect. It took literally a few minutes to fit. I had mine fitted in the middle of the three steps down into the pool so I could use it to both get in and out of the pool easily after having a surgery. I would definitely recommend it.
