I am very pleased with this 110 lb. anvil. Both the Hardy hole and Pritchard holes are correctly sized. The edges are a bit too sharp, but nothing I cannot correct. Great rebound with a 5/8" ball bearing (over 70% rebound). Nice sound on the anvil face when struck with a 2 1/2 lbs. hammer. Overall I opine this anvil to be of a superior value for a DIY hobbyist.

its about as good of a deal on an anvil as you can get for a new one. they ship it free which is insane. it is cast steel so obviously don't leave it to the elements or it will rust.

Cet article est parfaitement conforme à la description. Point très positif : elle est en acier. Une légende tenace voudrait que les enclumes en fonte soient indestructibles parce que c'est le matériau traditionnel et que l'on pense toujours que "cétait mieux avant". La réalité est que la métallurgie a fait des progrès et qu'une enclume récente faite en acier risque bien moins de casser que de la "bonne vieille" fonte. Un défaut minuscule de cet article est son emballage car aucun carton ne peut sortir indemne d'avoir contenu une enclume de 30kg. Il arrive donc en piteux état mais ça n'a strictement aucune conséquence sur le contenu et c'est de très loin l'essentiel. Bref, je recommande chaudement !

I bought the 110lb double horn anvil. Works great. A few small blemishes, but doesn’t interfere while working on the anvil.
