I had some reservations buying this puller after reading the reviews. But all worng. This tool is made for Mercruiser Alpha 1 gimbal bearing. The atrachement plate is perfect and wrap around the oil check valve perfectly. Once installed and thru the bearing, lightly tap the T handle so it sits in place and start wrenching. Took out my stuborn gimbal easy. Although you need some elbow grease on that wrench. I would give it 6 stars.

the case splitter was perfect. the crank puller was missing a part of the tool which you can not buy separatly. they adjusted the price so i could have the part made and now i have a tool that works perfectly. these tools are for splitting motorcycle crankcases and pulling them back together. I recommend bestauto and will purchase from them again

If you own a boat and plan on doing any mechanical work to it bellows and gimbal bearing are pretty routine maintenance. This tool will save you so much stress time and hassle with trying to figure out your own homemade way or using a slide hammer it’s inexpensive it’s made to last and it works amazing. I bought a boat that had water in the Bellows for who knows how long and the gimbal bearing was froze inside of its housing. Are used a slide hammer first and it would not budge. So I purchased this and a monster crescent wrench and walked out right out with ease

I had to cut a notch for the oil pin to clear. For that much money, you think they would have that figured out. Other then that the tool works good. MY FOUGHT DID NOT READ DESCRIPTION. WAS NOT MADE FOR ALPA ONE GEN 2.

Split a case, pressed out a crank and pressed out a main bearing. Worked great. Seems quite strong

This came on time and worked like a champ to split the cases on the bike, also worked well to push the crank out and used it to push the bearings out and new ones in
