I work with copper mostly and this roller press does save me a lot of time. It is well made and can handle what I need. Yes there are better ones if you are ready to pay hundreds more.

This is for the 57mm rolling mill (KD-Y5255). Pros: 1) It has a 4:1 gear reduction which is better than what vevor say in their specs. I tested it at home by marking the top roller and counting the turns of the crank arm per 1 roller revolution and it's 4:1. This is hugely beneficial and makes rolling much easier 2) it doesn't need a stabiliser bar like other cheaper rolling mills. It's just a better and much sleeker construction 3) The 5.5 mm roller opening is generous as it can fit thick texture plates and larger ingots without needing to forge them down with the hammer first 4) the "elliptical" wire grooves are half round and really useful for ring bands I also have an expensive direct drive rolling mill from a professional brand which is a bit small for rolling out ingots so I brought in the vevor to help with that bottle neck. It's doing a good job. The built quality is obviously not the same but it's perfectly functional if you keep the gears oiled, anneal the metal frequently and reduce the thickness in small increments

I was looking for a roller mill but I couldn't spend a lot of money for it. This mill was perfect for the price. It does everything that I would need, probably more. I might not need everything this little rolling press does yet, but it will be available to me when I do need it. Easy assembly. I did have to adjust the marking plates to zero when rollers where closed but was easy to do. Rollers are very oily/greasy for shipment so you have to clean that off down to a thin film otherwise it transfers onto your work.

I bought this a few months ago, but my son just built me a small portable bench on which to use it. I am learning to be a metalsmith and have enjoyed putting textures on my metals with this. This has completed my workshop and I will use the rolling mill regularly. Great product.

Goede wals voor zowel plaat als draad. Stevig en mooi. Ik heb aangegeven dat het staafje metaal dat de rollen op elkaar houdt, vastzit in de platte roller. Klantenservice bericht en zij hebben dit goed opgepakt

Ik heb dit onlangs gekocht en ben tot nu toe zeer tevreden. Alles lijkt betrouwbaar en functioneel
