When it came in I had to set the dies mine were extremely tight in there so it was a little difficult but it threaded great

Very easy to use pipe threader with multiple, easy to use heads for different diameter pipes. The heads are easy to change out and cut through the pipe with ease.

I bought this because our local orange box store is awful at cutting/threading pipe. It does an ok job, but not terrific... the retention of the dies could be better, and the teeth could be sharper, but it got the job done. The best use for this might be chasing the factory threads on import pipe, as a lot of those are pretty awful. This will clean them up reasonably well. Still haven't decided if I'll keep it, as I just got a Ridgid power threader, but this might be a useful backup to have around.

I'm not a plumber or pipe fitter and don't plan on using this set for important jobs like that. I just use it for making things out of pipe. I have just used the 3/4 threader so far and it worked good although the threads were a little rough. Make sure you use lots of cutting oil like rapid tap. This set has already paid for itself after a couple projects not having to buy pre threaded pipe from the store. First thing I made was a foredom rotary tool hanger for the workbench.

Great tool to have to be able to fix threaded pipe issues - great value for price. Not justified to buy the expensive versions if you don't use it commercially so ideal to have in the workshop for capability when needed.

Tool works as it should we always use VEVOR products and are happy with them. Customer service is easy to get ahold of and settle any issue. Only issue we have ever had was with shipping damage

This works but take it slow and especially keep adding oil ( get a tin pan or bucket ) . Once thread started, it will get easier but need to keep adding oil and clear the shavings.

A handy tool if you only need it for occasional DIY use. The tapered die cuts well enough, but some adjustment of the aperture was necessary to meet the exact diameter of the pipe and ensure a proper thread cut; i.e. deep enough to avoid leaving flat threads. Can be disassembled and adjusted to be more precise, with a bit of effort and a few shims.
