Threaded rod easily bends and kinks. Use only to push bushing into there spots

Do not use this to try to remove a rusted canadian bushing. The threaded rod will bend. If you use it to press in a bushing after the hole has been prepped and cleaned it works great. I used this on my leaf spring shackles. This fixed shackle and the eye bushing on the leaf spring. Worked great.

Well made! Took a little bit of time to figure what plate goes with what tube. Trial and error method. Ended up putting the number of the plate on the tube for future reference

Not strong enough to pull bushings.

Tried to remove two bushings: one with the m10 rod, and one with the m12 rod. Both times I used the largest diameter rod that would fit through the hole. Both rods bent before the bushings even moved, and are now unusable because the nuts won't go around the curve.

Rods _will_ bend, otherwise okay.

As Elijah said, these aren't so great for removing old bushings. Even with relatively rust-free parts and judicious amounts of heat on the eyelets, the included rods are going to have some real trouble staying straight. I was able to get one rod fairly straight again in a V block, but I sense going for some metric all-thread of higher strength is the key. The adapter hold up nicely in a press. I really like the bearing/nut/washer thingies.

The tool set was very quality packaged but when using the wall thickness of all the extractor/ insertion cups caused much modification to complete the task at hand. I had to modify the cups drastically to remove the bushing. Had the wall thickness been much slimmer, like the ball joint tool set in my toolbox, the modifications would not have been required. I wish I had not ground the cups as required because I would have returned the purchased set but I needed it for the customer.

Cheap Tools w terrible customer service

This is the second tool I have purchased and the last. The tools are “ok” but likely no better than Harbor Freight. The box that carries the tools is damaged and I have been fighting with them for over a month. They only reply when they are at work which is in the middle of the night for America so…yeah. Just buy American or at least somewhere in America where you can return a damaged item without a hassle.
