Très bien à part mon creuse en grafit et un peux abîmé apre a voir avec le temp si il se casse pas .

The handle will fail. It may be fast, maybe slow. But it's inevitable. Everything works great on this unit, including the propane control, along with the manual air shutter that is sturdy. Solid , Stainless Steel construction. Another downer, the refractory needs to be addressed. Two ways: 1. Refractory cement. 2. There is a pink spray out there that would save time, money, and weight! And it is easy to reapply! Refractory cement is awesome, but requires rebuilding g occasionally. See photos of a custom handle idea.

The tongs that come with these furnaces are no good. Buy better was immediately. Would buy again if i burn this one uo.

it is decent quality, but the crucible broke the first time i tried to pick it up and the tongs are kind of shitty but overall, it does everything it says it will not melt steel, but it will eat up aluminum brass and copper

Works very well dose leak propane around ports so when you put it together put high temp sealer on it other than that is awesome to have in the shop

I did put refractory on the insulation before firing it. I bought the dual burner to make sure it could get the job done so it's first test was copper. If it can melt copper enough to pour easily. It can melt about anything. And it did. The 12k crucible in not a fan of. Which takes nothing away from the unit. It's just a massive, heavy crucible, that will be very intimidating if it's your first time. The thing will look like the sun. Wear very thick welding gloves and no exposed skin. I found an old welding helmet and took the dark plate out and left the clear. This is a major help when you stand over the opening to look in. It open it to pour. Just put sunglasses on under. Otherwise that 12k crucible is gonna feel like it's melting your face. I actually throttled back the propane and didn't need it full blast for a huge crucible and copper. So it will get the job done. I ended up buying a 2k crucible and a good firebrick to keep the smaller crucible up into the flame. Much better manageable deal that way. And melted faster. The 2 burner unit will go through propane. Kind of his without saying and common sense. 2 burners=twice the propane. It is nice you can shut one off while using the other. Or start out with one until everything nice and toasty. Then fire the other and off you go. The construction isn't bad. After all for the price you're not going to get 3/16 stainless steel unit. But overall gets the job done and so far so good.

J'ai pu fondre du cuivre sans aucun souci, ce qui confirme que le four atteint et maintient des températures élevées très efficacement (jusqu'à 1482 °C annoncés). Montage rapide : Le kit est très facile à assembler dès la réception, on peut être prêt à fondre rapidement. Matériel fourni : Le corps en inox est robuste et les accessoires fournis (creuset de 6 kg, pince) permettent de démarrer immédiatement. ⚠️ LES POINTS DE VIGILANCE : Fragilité de l'isolation : La laine de roche est épaisse, ce qui est une bonne chose pour l'isolation thermique, mais elle est extrêmement fragile. Elle a tendance à s'effriter et à se désagréger très rapidement lors des manipulations. Durabilité : À cause de cet effritement précoce de l'isolant, la tenue dans le temps après de nombreux cycles de chauffe reste à confirmer. VERDICT : C'est un très bon produit pour s'initier à la fonderie ou recycler ses métaux. Il fait parfaitement son travail de fusion sur tous les métaux courants. Faites simplement attention à ne pas trop "brusquer" l'isolation intérieure pour qu'elle dure le plus longtemps possible.
