Customer Reviews for VEVOR Propane Melting Furnace Kit, 16KG/35lbs Gas Metal Melting Furnace Kit, Dual Burner Foundry Home Kiln with Crucibles and Tongs, Smelting Casting Tool for Gold Silver Copper Aluminum Metal Recycle

i bought this to melt aluminium and brass for projects. and was more than very surprised at how easy it was to set up and use. and the melting time is very fast indeed, so no wasted gas waiting around for things to heat up. it more than served my needs, great little bench top forge 5* rating for this along with fast delivery

Works great! I've used it to make jewelry, knives, and a great multiplicity of other things. Great price for the quality. Extrodanaly easy to use. Be careful when using the lid for an extended time. The metal heats up and starts burning the wood, but other than that it works beautifully. The tongs are fanominal but one does have to be cautious when adjusting to their grip. I have had red-hot steel try to jump up in my face because the tongs aren't as tight as they could be.

Very good quality for the money spent, Heats fast and even, Needs a higher quality Crucible but the one supplied works to start. I would Highly recommend Buying a stiffener for the Insulation before using, you won't regret the extra $16 dollar investment it will keep the insulation from sagging and eliminate a lot of headaches and hassle also Get some High Quality Teflon tape for the connections before hand or it will leak. Invest in Crucible Tongs that Cradle the Crucible for better control pouring. Be Safe Have Fun;)

The furnace is great value for money, it's fairly well built and the accessories that are included make it an even better deal. BP gaslight propane tank will not run this furnace for long enough, you need a gas tank that has a twist type valve instead of the standard 27mm clip on valve typical of bbq gas tanks

I had a lot of fun with the Tools. I melted Aluminium, Copper and Brass. I have it now for a year and would buy it again.

Très pratique

Article conforme à la description et fonctionne correctement.

I have enjoyed using the furnace it is a great piece of kit. my only down point was that the tongs supplied are not practical to use when poring the moulten metal. also, the fire brick has cracked after 5 melts but I have been impressed with the furnace as a whole n

fonctionne très bien, chauffe fort je n'ai pas encore utilisé les deux bruleurs, un seul suffi pour l'alu, le laiton et le bronze. bonne résistance de la protection thermique.
