At that price, there is no point of building your own.
Get the one that has ALL the options. You won't save much by buing the badic one. When attempting to order it was not available so I set a notification. Once notified I ordered it.

Very happy with this mitre gauge. The settings are accurate - square cuts are perfect and I made an octagon (8 sided) template for a floor layout with cuts at the gauges 22.5 degrees setting. The fit was perfect. I use this gauge on a DeWalt site saw and could not be happier with the cuts I'm getting.

Really solid miter gauge. 18” width and solid handle helps with crosscuts. Settable stop with micro adjustments allow for repeatable cuts. Slides smoothly in my miter track with no wobble. Great value and especially for the price.

A great mitre for the money, very accurate right out of the packaging. Had to raise the body about .020 inch as it was dragging on my saw surface.
