I bought it because I have to cut a log into boards. I like it, it is very sturdy, it has a locking system on the tip that also includes a screw to prevent the blade from slipping. Unfortunately it arrived with the wrong piece. Too big. I had to make do on my own.

I finally stopped dreaming about DIY furniture and actually started making it thanks to this VEVOR Chainsaw Mill. If you’ve got a chainsaw and a fallen tree, you’ve basically got a hardware store in your backyard. Why This Mill is a Cut Above: Solid as a Rock: For the price, I was expecting something a bit flimsy, but this thing is heavy-duty. Once it’s clamped on, it stays put, which is exactly what you want when you're slicing through thick oak. Consistency is Key: The height adjustment is simple to use, allowing me to get nice, even planks. My first few boards looked so professional I almost didn't want to tell people I made them with a portable rig. Portable Power: It’s light enough to carry out into the woods where the tree actually fell. No need to haul massive logs to a professional mill when you can bring the mill to the log! Pro-Tip: Make sure your chain is extra sharp (luckily I just reviewed some of those!) and take your time. This mill turns a grueling job into a very satisfying afternoon project.

Preis Leistung unschlagbar. Das Teil funktioniert besser als wir alle dachten. Man muss aber folgendes beachten. Die Leistung der Motorsäge muss ausreichend sein. Ich benutze die Holzforma G660 mit ueber 7 PS. Kenner wissen, was das fuer ein Brecher ist. Beim Sägen von Eichenbrettern kam die schon fast an die Grenze. Ausserdem ist das Neujustieren des Sägewerkes recht aufwendig. Daher wäre es sinnvoll ein zweites Sägewerk fuer den ersten Schnitt zu beschaffen. Dann brauch man aber eine zweite Säge. Zusätzlich fallen Unmengen an Spänen an. Der Spritverbrauch ist enorm. Anyway. Wir sind super zufrieden mit dem Teil und haben jede Menge Spass.

Das Gerät funtionniert einwandfrei sobald alles eingestellt ist. Leider sind gewisse Muttern (Höhenverstellung) und Schrauben (Blockierung des Schwertes) ziemlich schlecht zugänglich. Als Verbesserung würde ich folgendes vorschlagen: Blockierung des Schwertes: Muttern an Gegenstück (T-Stück) anschweissen. Somit können die 4 Schrauben besser erreicht werden. Höhenverstellung: Hohe 6-Kantmuttern montieren

Sawed out some 8”x8” timbers for an old barn we have and the saw guide worked great.
