Took some work to get it all assembled. Bolts must be very tight to keep from coming undone, but it will cut a board from a log.

It is a nice saw mill with a very good price, it helped me cut a few oak logs into fairly nice planks. Unfortunately the cheap price shows a little bit on the quality where I managed to strip and break one of the screws for height adjustments and break one other bit on the second height adjustment bar. Both are replaceable so I just need to find a suitable replacement and it is not a big deal, but the screws could have been a bit hardier. On the other hand they go through aluminum so perhaps they must not be from a harder material? It would be great if the height adjustment was a bit easier to do, currently you need to loosen up 4 screws, set the new height on both height adjustments bars and tighten the screws back. If you do this often and with a messy saw mill covered in dust the screws suffer. But again for the very nice price it is a very good product. Just make sure your chainsaw bar is long enough as with 18" (45cm) bar your effective cut would be perhaps 12-13" (32cm).

Das Anbausägewerk enthält alles, was es braucht, um gerade Bretter zu sägen. Die Qualität ist für den geforderten Leistungsbereich ausreichend. Der Zusammenbau sollte jemandem, der regelmäßig mit einer Motorsäge arbeitet, möglich sein. Montageanleitung in der jeweiligen Landessprache sollte künftig beigefügt werden. Die Einstellungen sind etwas aufwändig und hakelig. Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Aufgrund der hohen Maschinenbelastung im Einsatz ist mindestens eine Profisäge mit etwa 5 PS erforderlich. Ein Schmalschwert mit 1,3 mm Fuge und eine Längsschnittkette sind ebenfalls notwendig.

Great little Alaskan mill for the price. Upgraded the hardware on mine as some were not sized properly.
