Not a good pool fence gate
Not a good pool fence gate 1
This review is for the fence gate with the plastic manual mechanical latch. I bought this pool fence gate around august of 2026. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. The instructions could use a little more information but it worked out in the end. The gate construction is okay but it isn’t very safe or secure as far as the latch is concerned. I do like VEVOR Products but this one is not good at all. A small child could easily pull it open when latched.

Disappointing, would replace if I could.
Assembly of gate was difficult to do solo. Instructions were relatively unclear. Latch is not great, ended up replacing it with something more robust. Drill guide was also not perfect

Bad Product
The product is basically useless and not safe I don't recommend any one get it and its basically garbage. This gate is not safe if you have children. Litterally a gust of wind can open even if the gate latch is engaged.

This gate is NOT safe.
The hinges and latch attach in a way that is not secure. You can apply a little upwards pressure and the entire gate pops right off. My 15 month old could open this in a heartbeat.

Flimsy, not self closing an no lock
The fence was great quality, but the door is flimsy very difficult to line up perfectly and the lack is not high up so when children are in the pool area, they can easily open it and leave it open because it’s not self closing
