Sturdy, great hardware, easy to assemble my pool is 16 feet wide I made the real 18 feet wide to allow space on each side I would recommend it. It comes with two sandbags to put on the end also.

This review is 12 months overdue but I am very pleased to report this thing looks and functions as great as it did the day I purchased it! My pool is 16 feet wide so this reel has been tested to capacity. Works great!

I’ve been using the VEVOR Pool Cover Reel for a while now, and overall, I’d say it’s a solid investment for anyone with an inground pool. First off, the aluminum frame feels sturdy yet lightweight, making it easy to maneuver. The rubber wheels roll smoothly, which is a big plus when adjusting the cover. It also comes with sandbags for extra stability—though, honestly, I didn’t feel the need to use them much. Assembly was a bit of a project. The instructions could have been clearer, and it took some time to put everything together. That said, once assembled, it works like a charm. Rolling the cover on and off is way easier than dealing with it manually, and the reel holds up well, even with a heavier solar cover. One thing to note: While it claims to fit pools from 4 to 18 feet wide, it works best on the wider end of that range. If you have a smaller pool, you might find it bulkier than necessary. For the price, this is a great option compared to more expensive brands. If you're looking for a budget-friendly pool cover reel that gets the job done, this is definitely worth considering! Il rullo è maneggevole e facile da montare con un manuale (solo inglese) con le istruzioni passo passo. Tende un po' ad imbarcarsi al centro e la struttura è molto leggera...se c'è vento forte trascina telo e rullo. Nel complesso comunque è un buon prodotto

as other have said, the base is a little light, can be tipped over when reeling in cover. instead of using the sandbags we fixed this by securing it to the fence with bungie cords (fence is approx 3' from the reel so it still allowed the cover to be completely unrolled onto the pool) great quality for the price, I was skeptical but it works.

I, admittedly, went for one of the cheapest reels that I could find that would handle my solar cover. This thing is very sturdy, and has helped up great! The only issue is when installing the clips with the straps, you have to make sure they are all positioned the same so it doesn’t start pulling up one side before the other making it all crooked. Great product, overall!

Pretty easy to put together I would recommend for getting the cover off the pool. I have an odd shaped pool and it works well with that also.

It does what it advertises. The instructions for placement of the cover reel relative to the kidney-shaped pool were actually accurate (and therefore helpful). The pre-drilled holes on the pole were not accurate relative to the instrutions however it did not hinder assembly. The aluminum is soft and the thread on the screw holder is already rusting. I don't expect this years on end but for the price, and getting a cover so we could heat pump to extend our pool season, it was worth it.
