Overall my experience with the Vevor plate compactor has been quite good after overcoming delivery service blunders. Easy to operate and does a good job. My only 2 criticisms would be is the FedEx delivery service and the inability to purchase replacement air filters. Even though the box was clearly marked to keep the box facing up like the giant arrows on the box show, they clearly did not. The vibratory drum oil was all over the internal contents covering most of the machine including the whole engine and saturating the both air filter and prefilter. Even the FedEx driver tried tipping the box on its side looking for a code to scan which was clearly on top as I pointed out to him the box should NOT be tipped as clearly marked. He looked at me like who pays any attention to product box warnings. Absolute idiot! Vevor should do something about this as it seems to be a constantly repeating problem. And if they are going to continue with a custom air filters, they should make them readily available.

Received the shipment- opened the box screwed on the throttle cable added oil and gas and never looked back. Great value started up 2nd pull. Worked great. I needed it for a paver walk way just the right size. I also used it on a crushed concrete driveway, 18 x 32 no problem.

Awesome little compactor that starts on the first pull and gets the job done. It would have likely cost at least half the price to rent a compactor and now I own one. I used it already for a walkway and it exceeded expectations. Four of my friends want to borrow it already and if I charged them for it, it would pay for itself in a month. I’d absolutely recommend this machine and can’t stop talking about the things I’ve bought from Vevor. Well done!

This little machine is worth it, at least for us. As a non-profit trail builder we seek durable, consistent, and affordable tools. When it comes to shaping berms and rollers and remote trail fills we need a lighter weight solution for compacting soils. This machine out the box was great. Just needed crankcase oil (not supplied) and fuel. Minimal assembly. It took about 10 mins and it was ready to roll. On initial start up I was concerned that the vibration motor was defective or just could not produce the correct frequency. It dies take a few seconds (15-30) for it to warm up to produce the correct frequency of vibrations. On-trail work has been great. It’s light enough to carry and move with a wheelbarrow. Fuel use is fine, tank is pretty small but still runs for a decent amount of time. It also moves faster than our larger (230lb) plate compactor. This machine is not efficient for large areas, but that’s why we got it. Controls are typical on a gas motor and starts easily. We have about 8 hrs on the machine with zero complaints.
