Only giving this 4 stars due to the delivery issue and box damage. Vevor was fast to make the issue right. the product is great and just as advertised. I would highly recommend this item.

Compactor works like a charme.... now! I received it upside down. Protective oil filed the air filter. Took me two hours to troulbleshoot. I cleaned the air filter but it was so soaked that i had to replace it. Works like a charme now! Great machine for the price, but poor handling. I was left with myself to figure it out. Sinceraĺy.

The unit looks to be well made, had issues with the motor right from get go, called Vevor support and they were really good, They responded quickly and we managed to iron out the issues, good job Vevor support,

Of no fault of yours I did not receive the first plate compactor that I ordered. Fedex had a huge issue as far as delivery, communication was poor with not only customer support but also with the delivery driver in that he did not speak English. That order was returned to your warehouse with an explanation that the unit was damaged. I questioned that. Anyway I was reimbursed and I reordered. I received the second order as it was executed in due time and the machine works well so hope to use this to complete the retaining walls project that it was purchased for.

Well, the bad: no real container, just wrapped in Saran wrap, oil in wrapping, terrible manual with wrong instructions regarding the vibrator. The good: responsive cust serv that negotiated a fair resolution. After much searching online, Home Depot sells this same unit with a 7hp motor, but the same vibrator, plate under 'Stark'. I could see a label saying the vibrator oil level where my manual stated to fill to fill hole. I got oil everywhere. There is a weep hole on the shaft near the pully (I know this now). I shut the unit off, saw the weeping hole, put it to the bottom + let it drain to that level, 30% full maybe. Minimal leaking after that to a non spraying level. I have about 5 hours on thus unit mow. Starts 1 pull, climbs gravel slope well, good packing depth, well made, great price. All in all, I'd buy again

Only problem was on the initial start , unit must have been turned upside down during shipping, that resulted in the oil ending up in the air filter , choking off the intake air , after some time, we figured out the problem, and the unit fired up , hope this is helpful

Item have been lost first time. Re-ordered. Arrived with a completely destroyed packaging.

J' ai reçu le compacteur dans une boîte don j' imagine un transport très dificil car la boîte était tout perforé déchirer etc en plus de être imbibé huile Après le déballage j' ai constater tout le styromousse de protection était brisé en plus tout le compacteur imbibé huile Ça m'a pris près de 3 heures pour tout nettoyer J' ai contacter le service a la clientèle a deux reprises pour savoir d'où venait cette huile et j' ai toujours pas u de retour de Vevor après 5 jours en date d aujourd'hui en plus pour la démarrer sait très compliquées pourtant je pocede 5 petit moteur différents en plus d être moi même mécanicien donc je crois savoir comment les démarré un coup démarrer ça fonctionne assez bien après seulement 2 heures utilisation Mais le conseil que je donne est le suivant ne pas ce fier au service a la clientèle je suis pas le premier a le dire après 2 tentative aucun retour et pour le compacteur l' achat est a vos risque et péril si je devais recomancer je n' achèterait pas ce compacteur

Brand new and can’t get it started. Had to bring it to a mechanic to have him look it over. Very disappointed as I’ve bought quite a bit from Vevor but I will not buy anything that has an engine of any kind anymore.

Unit arrived in pcs package looked like it was rolled across country unit was un usable and was scrapped. On the plus side after several emails back and forth Vevor honoured their guarantees and refunded me my purchase price. Vevor 5 stars unit??
