Customer Reviews for VEVOR Plate Compactor, 6.5 HP 196CC Gas Engine 5,600 RPM, 2360 lbs Force Vibratory Compaction Tamper with 5.6 x 4.1 cm Plate for Walkways, Patios, Asphalts, Paver Landscaping, EPA & CARB Compliant

Fired up tight out of the box. Minimal assembly. Works like a charm. Effective packing at selectable speeds. Great piece of equipment.

great little packer, started on the first pull with no issues but we will see how it does in the long run, and how long it lasts but for the price point its well worth the investment.

A solid machine and good value. Starts easily, compacts well, and beats renting for a multi-day project. The two fasteners holding the heat guard screen vibrate loose — fixed with a drop of loctite. Overall very impressed with this, my first Vevor purchase.

Very good verry happy I highly recommend extremely reliable always starts I use it every day and for the price 0 shipping

Works good. Used it for 600 sq ft of 1/2 inch gravel. Did what it's supposed to do. I recommend this product. Price is good, shipping was quick and thorough.

This plate compactor is incredible for its size. Easy to assemble, easy to use and after adding oil and fuel started 1st pull. This machine is super capable of tackling big jobs. Well worth the money.

Started on first pull. The gas on position is not out where there is an arrow and "ON" but in by the engine. Took me awhile to figure that out. The muffler guard continually vibrates loose, going to get some lock tight to put on threads. Yes check nuts for loose after running. It compacted very well once I got it running.

It’s amazing, doing new build and it’s saving us quite a bit of money being be to do a lot ourselves. Has easily paid for itself. Works great!

This is a very good machine. Put gas and oil and it fired up every time. If needed i would definatly buy again

Great job for the money. Don't use it until you check EVERY bolt. Lost both bolts on the exhaust grill.
