Like the machine but muffler guard bolts fell out after 10 min of use.

This thing compacts decently. For the price I have zero complaints. On semi-dry DG I'm getting a real-world compaction of about 3 inches. Which for a vib plate I can lift in and out of my truck myself, I can't complain. We've used this so far for our DG driveway, sidewalk concrete pour prep and artificial turf sand compaction. I would say we've got our money's worth out of it and will continue to as we run it. I would recommend this compactor for anyone who can't afford or lift a larger commercial one.

Quick assembly and excellent performance. Formed a 80x60 chert pad and this compactor made it a breeze to get each layer packed.

Very well made works great awesome for compacting gravel campsites easy to operate. Easy starting like the wheels on back for moveablity.

Great product with a great price.

Love this little machine and so do my friends. No need to stomp the ground anymore. Used it on the water tank bases, under the fake grass in 3 areas, shed gravel floor and under concrete carport and garage. Great value for money. Would have cost me heaps more to hire the same.

This unit is great. It starts every time, usually on the first pull. There were a couple of issues though. There were absolutely no details or pictures with the instructions. I was looking for a plug that was not there, there was a rubber band instead of a plug. The throttle will not stay in high, because it vibrates down. I fixed that with a piece of parachute cord. I just tied it wide open. I cannot imagine running it on low. The other thing that I knew before I bought it is that it only runs on high octane gas, which is not bad because it does not use much gas. But overall, I like it and it was a great price for what it is. I would buy it again in a heartbeat if I needed one.

Added engine oil and fuel and started up on the first pull. Does everything other plate compactors do for a quarter of the price. The only thing I would like to be different is make the handle able to swing back and forth over the top of the machine. It can improve the maneuverability to be able to have the handles vertical for tight corners.

The plate compactor was shipped promptly and it started on thr first try. Results have been excellent on clay soil.

Great little compactor. Only thing is the instructions are horrible and are not clear on how much oil goes into the vibrator. We figured it worked best right below the shaft if not it puked out oil out through the axle shaft. Other than that the wheels on the back don't help much moving it around when it isn't running. Beside those two things was great
