I bought this to make mortis and tenon joints for 3" x 1" oak stained glass windows. It won't clamp anything larger than 2" to be mortised, it's too long to fit my 10" Ryobi drill press, hole pattern for the fence is too large for a 10" table which limits your distance to the centerline. I had to use a 5/8" space to get to my center and raise the head of my drill press to get room enough to do the job. I wound up just using the fence with a 5/8" spacer and my 1/2" forstner bit to get my mortises done. They say it's a universal fit, I disagree, if you've got a floor drill press it should work fine, just don't expect it to be a slam dunk on a bench mounted drill press.

Didn’t really fit my WEN DP1050 drill press correctly. I had to make some non-standard adjustments to get it to fit on my drill press which took about two hours in total. Pretty frustrating. It is ok for cutting straight narrow slots but would not recommend for using to cut out 1.5” or larger squares. You have to use a lot of force on the drill press to make the cuts in 5/8” walnut. I probably could have used a router and got better results.

Great quality built tool but didn't fit my bench drill, needs smaller collars or more adjustment options.

Trotz Adapterring hat der Aufsatz nicht auf meine Ständer Bohrmaschine gepasst. Auf die Handbohrmaschine hätte der Aufsatz gepasst jedoch wäre dann der Druck für die Meißelbohrer unzureichend gewesen. Ansonsten hochwertig verarbeitet und augenscheinlich eine gute Qualität

It did not fit my drill press. I had to make minor tweeks for proper fit. by usineing a plastic soda botel I cut a shim to take up the excess space

Too slow in Australian hardwoods, and alignment between chisel and drill not precise, square holes have one side drilled away. Was faster to make mortises with chisel.

This is a very well built tool. Sadly this does not fit many drills. They say it does but, Not it does not. I would not recommend this unless you get the measurements from them and compare it with your drill or drill press.

I was hoping that this tool would assist with creating deep mortises in some brush box timber. After reading the simple instructions I found that I needed to buy mortise chisel sharpening cones as they came blunt. Would be good to have the sharpening cones in the set. After buying the sharpening cones and sharpening as best I could, noting that the sharpening cones were not the same angle as the mortise chisel, I still couldn't create a mortise using my drill press.
