Makes my Bandsaw easier to move

It is well made and fairly easy to assemble. I would have created a rectangular square hole guide. E. G between 15.5 and 17 use hole ...That way it would be faster. On a related not it should have either a solid base, or a larger corner support for mounting the base. It can still slide around on top of the support. An alternative would be some large screws that pushed in on all sides of the base using the holes on the 4 sides. I'll probably build something to hold it still. Finally, the base is angled when set up for moving. I would have like to see the design keep it level and raise and lower floor stops, not the whole frame. It works but when you have a 500lb top heavy drill press it's a little never racking to roll it around on an angle.

As others note, this is a well-made and reasonably-priced product. However, it has a design detail that makes it a big disappointment *for my purposes* and possibly won't affect your use. Every other mobile base I have has a foot operated lever at each corner just as this one does. However, on the others, when you push the foot down, *the wheels* are lowered to raise the machine off of the stationary feet. This base does just the opposite- pressing the foot lever raises the machine via the stationary feet, and when the levers are lifted, *lowers* the machine onto the four wheels for transport. I have a heavy table saw (Saw Stop ICS) with a 54" extension table that has two legs for table support. I expected I would be able to *lower* the machine onto the roller stand's stationary feet (and hence, the extension's support legs) and *raise* the machine via the wheels which would raise the extension table legs enough for the machine to move. Big disappointment for me that it doesn't work that way. So give this some thought if the item you are moving has any load bearing anywhere other than the roller stand. Otherwise- the wheels are large enough to accommodate my not-perfectly-smooth concrete shop floor. You have to fiddle with the adjustments on the stationary feet to ensure they will clear any unevenness of the floor when the machine is lowered onto the wheels. I still don't have that dialed in quite right yet, but hopefully there is enough clearance to allow for that.

I bought 2 of them. The base & construction are OK. All the parts are there & the durability is OK. The rear roller flanges seemed to bend a bit when the tool was put on the finished bed. You’ll need a 7/16” wrench & socket. My main complaint is with the instructions. The diagram is so small it’s hard to see which part is which & where the bolts go. The parts list is scanty-for example, one has to measure the length of the bolts to see which is which. The written directions are also scanty & unclear. Because of these problems it took 2 hrs to build the first one-lotsa do-overs. Some tips-build the wheel assemblies first, then attach the rails according to the diagram. Much faster-it took 45 min to build the second one. Also, the diagram & pic show the foot levers to the outside, which seems to make a tripping hazard, so I put them to the inside. A little inconvenient but safer.

This is a good mobile stand - for the money. It is not as nice or as well engineered as other ones I have, but they cost twice as much. This does it's job as a platform for my bandsaw so I can move it out of the way.

As Mr.Oliver pointed out in his review, the instructions are clearly lacking in clarity, and the pictures are worse. I bought this Vevor version hoping to avoid the problem I had with the Bora Portamate: The wheels would NOT lock in the mobil position, so I jury rigged it, although they're sending replacement foot pedals......Meanwhile the Vevor, like the Bora units, is lacking enough nylon washers for the axles, but I'm certain that the pedals will lock as intended.

The base is rated for 600 lbs, but the bolts supporting the caster wheels have bent under the weight of my 450 lbs tablesaw. This makes the casters difficult to spin around. I would not put anything more than 300 lbs on this base.
