Great drill powered wire stripper
132 x 60 x235mm
This is a great wire stripper that can be operated with a drill or a hand crank that comes with it. When you use a drill the whole process goes incredibly quickly.

If you have your wire already on a spool then it is as easy as feeding the wire in by hand, setting the tension and then just have a motor like a drill press with a spool holder mounted up in the chuck. Then just turn your drill press on and set the speed on very slow... If you need it slower... Buy a VEVOR speed controller like the VEVOR 2000VA Auto Variable Voltage Transformer, 15.3 AMP, 110V INPUT to a Variable Voltage Output of 0V - 130V A/C, with LCD Display, Thermal Control Switch, and 4 extra fuses. It only cost $69.90 w/free shipping. Then you can really set your speed very slow. They even go as high as 3000VA at 23 Amps for $87.90 if you need a bigger one. The speed controller are real easy to use just rotate a dial after plugging it in, and yes it has a power cord and outlets built right into the 2000VA. On the 3000VA just buy a short extension cord and cut it in half as long as it can handle 23 Amps A/C you should be good.
Anyways I'm getting way off track here... Once you have a receiver spool set up turn it on.
OH you DON"T HAVE A SPOOL. DIY Spool instructions follow... You can make one out of a short price of PVC pipe, 2 of the right size caps for each end of the pipe. Then get some 1/2" threaded rod, 4 nuts, 4 lock washers and 4 flat washers. Cut out a couple of donuts/circles out of hardboard, or plywood, or whatever material you have laying around. I used a couple of old 45 speed records that were scratched up so they were free at the thrift stores dumpster. Drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each cap and start to put it all together with the threaded rod. Add a set of washers and nuts and pinch one cap between the washers and nut on one end of the threaded rod. Leave an extra 4" of rod extending out of one end. Add the tube and slide it into the cap on the threaded rod. Then add both of your circles (but leave them loose for now), the tube should slide into the PVC pipe cap. Now add the last cap and make sure you have a set of washers and a nut inside the pipe and set it as close as you can to the inside of the last cap. Then add the last flat washer, lock washer, and nut and tighten it down as tight as you can without damaging any of it... Adjust the inside nut as needed, to get it real tight. DO NOT USE ANY GLUE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE EVERYTHING IS CORRECTLY PLACED. Place each circle by each cap, and glue in place. Hopefully you have 4" extending out at one end of your DIY spool to put in your drill chuck. Once it is all hooked up with the wire going though the wire stripper then add the end to the spool and slowly start the drill and let the drill motor pull the wire through the stripper as it spools up your clean copper wire, as the casing drops into a bucket. NOW YOU HAVE A SELF FEEDING, SELF SPOOLING WIRE STRIPPER that works great and costs very little... Make sure you PURCHASE the fully aluminum TOOL. It's a few bucks more but it is well worth it. Also replacement cutting

Manual Wire Stripper
132 x 60 x235mm
It was a little hard to get the hang of at first, but is pretty simple to use once you get a rhythm going. I have only used it with a drill, which is a great feature. The hand-crank is only usable if you mount it to the edge of a table, otherwise the crank arm itself will hit whatever it's mounted to. The blade also comes loose really easily and veers off-center, which causes the wire to slip off the track. Despite those things, it's great for the price and I have been able to strip a ton of wire pretty quickly.

It’s better than by hand
132 x 60 x235mm
Pretty good but the blade in mine is slightly misaligned which does make it not work very well unless I guide the wire through. So I can just start it and go I have to guide the wire the whole time but still faster than by hand.

Doesn’t cut smaller wire as easy but does a good job with the thicker wire?
