I bought this to cut bread and cheese for sandwiches. it does this as well as cut consistent vegetables. It is so much more than that. Having a small simple slicer on the counter is terrific. Anything I want can be easily sliced. As is usual for Vevor, the quality is excellent as are the fit and finish. For the small amount of cleanup needed at the end of use, you will not find a better value than this slicer

I have only had this bread slicer for a few weeks but so far I love it. I make sourdough bread and the slicer goes through the bread easily and gives consistent size slices. My only worry is when the blade gets dull as I don't see any way to buy replacement blades and there is no mention of being able to sharpen the blade.

This bread slicer is a way better price than others that perform the same. The only reason why I don't give it five stars is because I cranked it out to do thick slices and the plastic workings got literally stuck. My husband had to take it apart to break it loose, that part is all plastic. So, now I know not to make thick slices anymore. Other than that, it crazy how easy it is to get even slices and quick cleanup.

Works great, easy to use.

Excellent value. Cuts my low hydration white loaves (which have a thick, crisp, crust) very easily, and evenly. The thickness adjustment dial works much better than the one on most of the other similar machines. The suction feet work great. It's also easy to clean. Two suggestions: 1) If you could change this machine a little bit so it has a bread guide on the front that keeps the slice from flopping down as it's cut, it would be helpful. 2) Including a different push guard, not just the tongs, to keep hands safe while feeding the bread to the blade, would be great. I had to purchase one from another source to do that. Other than that, it works really well!

Works well - creates nice even slices of bread quickly. I have not tried slicing cheese.

Very disappointed....seems like good quality but doesnt slice bread for **** would send it back but seems like a hassle.

I was so excited to give this to my wife for Christmas this past year. Imagine the disappointment when her homemade sourdough couldn't be cut because it has a 0" to .6" adjustment, not 6". The manual clearly shows 0 to 15mm adjustment. If you convert 150mm to inches it's about 6". Had this not been wrong in the ad, I would have gone with another brand. I've bought many good things from Vevor, this isn't one of them.
