I totally needed this. Since I’m a licensed squirrel rehabber, once It’s time to release the orphan squirrels back into the wild, what we do is, we get them acclimated back to the outdoors. Once they are ready to live on their own we install their nesting boxes up in our maple trees, here lays our issue. are the stray cats. We use this trap, to trap the stray cats. Once we trap the cats, we take them to our local humane society (which is also a no kill animal shelter) that way they will receive the proper care that they need. They will receive their vaccines, including the rabies vaccine, the cats will be sprayed or neutered then they will be adopted and into good homes. With this trap, the cats will not have to live outside specially, in the winter time. The trap was very easy to assemble. Plus, it’s very easy to use. I highly recommend it because I feel that no stray cats deserve to live outside. You could also use this trap if you need to trap wild raccoons, or other type of small wildlife like that. I highly recommend this animal trap. Edit- since my husband is the one that will trap the stray cats, (he never takes a pic or a video) this time I used the trap, and I was able to trap this fat cat in one night. My husband took him to our local humane society, so Hopefully the owners will come in claim him, Or he will be adopted out to a family, And they will keep him inside

A little tricky to put together, the instructions aren't of much help, but once together and adjusted it works great. Certainly the best value out there.

Caught a racoon first night, but check local laws. Animal control made me set it loose.

Some reviews said this trap was small, but I think it's more than adequate for stray cats and most wild animals, with the exception of perhaps the largest groundhogs and raccoons. I got this for cats since we had a lot of stray cats in our area a few years back who deserved better than having to fend for themselves. Unless I'm trying to catch a mountain lion, I think this trap is fine. The trap is quite cleverly constructed to lay flat for storage. It folds up once you clip the two zip ties, keeping it shut. I was able to fold it back down again so I can put it away when I don't need it. It's a pretty basic but sturdy trap. The problem, of course, is that living in a rural area, you never know what you're going to get… did I trap a stray cat as intended, or did a hungry groundhog wander in? This trap seems reasonably priced for its durability. Nothing will chew through these steel bars and it should last many more years to come.

Great value. Do use the zip ties provided as the metal clamps aren't strong enough to hold the back closed.

This trap worked very well. I don't have any experience trapping animals. My picture of the mother raccoon in the trap isn't all that great. But trapping her help me get her babies out of the attic safely. So I could give them all a new home in the wild.

Good solid trap that is well built and easy to use once you get familiar with it. It is not the largest size of these traps and would be easier to catch smaller raccoons and squirrels. I have rented these in the past and now I don't have to.

Very easy to set up, and it’s foldable and easy to store too. So far it caught 3 squirrels. It works perfectly! Highly recommended!

One damaged area can affect everything. Plus it’s not a penny, you want something new in perfect condition. I havent ysed it yet so my rating is not based on its functionality.
