Needed something to assist in all the tinkering and repair work I do as a musician. This is perfect size, design, and cost for my needs.

Ich hatte ja so meine Zweifel. Wenn man sieht, was diese Wahnsinnigen bei Ebay für die letzten Schrottteile für Preise aufrufen, hatte ich bei diesem günstigen Angebot so meine Bedenken. Aber völlig grundlos. Das ist ein wirklich solider Amboss. Man muss ein wenig nacharbeiten (Kanten schleifen usw.) aber das ist bei diesem günstigen Angebot sicherlich zu verschmerzen. Für meine Nutzung absolut tup.

I used this to start blacksmithing. It was a bit dislodged in the box which destroyed half the box but..it is an anvil. I would give 2 stars for shipping though. It is a very good anvil though.

Very fine anvils - need a little cleanup if you care about the sprue-marks on the sides and/or don't like blue paint (I do & don't, respectively. Very high quality & durable - I teach blacksmithing and teenage-boys hit with more enthusiasm than skill, but no-problem!

small anvil but seems to be good steal, hardness meets what they advertised, weight is right on. The only thing I did not like as much is the pritchel hole is too big and the harder hole is too small but I knew that when I bought it

Perfect anvil for the beginner! Great bounce and very well made. Can’t get a better anvil for the price. Highly reccomend.

QC on these aren't the best; strip the paint upon getting it to check for casting voids or cracks. If you get a good one, though, for the price they're the best anvil to learn on. Face is a touch soft, but if you miss a strike and bash it, it's easy to level off with a grinder and for the price you wont feel too bad about a few dents. Even in a professional shop these still have a good working spot as a dedicated spring die or tooling anvil. I love mine, worth the buy!
