It works better than I expected. The resolution seems low but you can see an amazing amount of detail and it's great as a diagnostic tool. At this price,,, I can find no faults with it. It's important to note that the color gradients are relative to what you have framed in your image. Let me try to explain what I mean.. if you take an image of a glass of ice water in a box with with a salt shaker you'll see the color gradients go from dark blue to light yellow. The dark blue will be around 32f and the yellow will be about room temperature or 70f. If you put a candle in the box and the dark blue will still be around 32f but the yellow will be maybe 300f. It's important to frame your shot properly to get the best accuracy.

It works. Used on home inspection. Inspector want 300+ to inspect. Tool was 199. I scanned the walls just as he would have. Found nothing. Bought the house. So far no issues. Inspector liked this unit more than his. Said it looks and felt solid. I think so too.

Amazing battery life, very high quality thermal camera. Used for live honeybee removal. This tool is fantastic and a great deal. Couldn’t hesitate to buy it again.
