Perfect for amateur use. I used it to see the heating pipes in the floor of my house. Works well also in -35 degrees outside in lapland without issues for shorter 10-15min period.

I purchased this device to monitor winter beehive activity without having to tap or open the hives. I am so impressed! This thermal imaging camera completely takes the guesswork out of winter beekeeping! The images are clear (and I had it on low resolution), and the data overlay is so informative. Being able to save the images helps for comparison purposes over time. The images are all still on my device (on the provided SD card), but I was also able to easily copy them onto my computer for larger viewing using the provided cable. I was able to confidently make decisions about spring stock purchases based on these images. The camera is sturdy and super easy to use. It came partially charged, so I was able to use it right away. Even the packaging it came in was top quality. Best purchase I’ve made in years. Thanks, Vevor!

Working as intended. Able to see temperature differences. However the unit i ordered has defect at camera which made bottom left corner of the view in screen have some sort of temperature fog however was not interfering with my need and was minimal issue so i kept using a d will keep using. Price quality ratio is good.
