Type 2/Class E
This is not ANSI nor CSA approved even though it carries an ANSI stamp and sticker but it's missing the required markers. It is a self-certified product so use at your own risk. Requested a refund and never received a reply.

An excellent helmet, with one regret...
Type 2/Class C
This Type 2 helmet is a really solid option if you're looking for a sub-$100 safety bit of kit. It is adjustable, as it should be, comfortable mostly but for the price it is just right. The discomfort that I experienced was with the headband, on my forehead. I wore the helmet for the better part of 5 hours while visiting a quarry. By hour 3, I found myself needing to adjust it more and more, finally taking a 15 minute break to five my head a rest. The only regret, as I wear glasses, was not opting for, what turns out to be an exclusive option, the eye shield. I have expected, since they are the same product, that accessories would be available. Meaning that I could purchase the eye shield or the hearing protection later. Customer Service was good enough to let me know that at the moment there are no separately purchasable accessories. Which also means there are no available replacement parts when, for instance, the eye shield does its job and a new one is needed. To clarify, at the moment, what I regret is not buying the SAME helmet, but with the eye shield, which is ONLY way that a customer can purchase the part. Please changes this. Please make the accessories, which have part numbers in the manual available for separate purchase.

Safety Helmet with Visor & Earmuffs
This hardhat came with eye protection and hearing protection. Neither work as expected. The hearing protection hinges do not pivot, so they broke the first time they were installed. I didn't get a chance to use it as it broke during assembly. In short - junk, not worth the time to view online.
