Great Sockets!

I’ve used and abused them for awhile now and they’ve held up wonderfully. Rub them in oil if you don’t want them to rust, and treat the blow mold case nice or buy a set of rails to keep them organized!

Great Sockets!

They’ve taken everything I’ve thrown at them and never failed! The labels could be a little clearer and I wiped them in motor oil so they wouldn’t rust, but they’re amazing tools for the price!

as with all of the vevor tools i have purchased, this socket set is of good quality it is a 1/4" impact socket set, but includes a ratchet, extensions, universal and all in a decent quality case. the sockets are all thin wall enough to be used on most all applications one would use chrome sockets, yet tough enough to stand up to impact use. this set will join other sets i have in my pickup truck to do the various jobs around town in our water dept, and on our solid waste dept. in short? yes i highly recommend this set of sockets

I have put several of these sockets through some serious abuse.. working on rusty frames of trucks I have hit these sockets with multiple air impact and high torque tools… and they have held up without issue.. no metal distortion.. never stripped.. very happy with this set!! For the money you cannot go wrong!! If your thinking about buying one… just do it, you will not be disappointed

Best value 1/2 inch socket set
65 PCS
This is a socket set I bought for a spare toolbox I needed to fill. At work I have an old snap on set, at my house I have the HF Quinn set. Both of those are better, but a snap on set is 10x price and Quinn is 2-3x price. Overall the sockets will perform perfectly well in any setting if you can get over a couple small things. Since they are closest in price to the Quinn set, I’ll compare the two. The first difference is the case, the vevor case is very large and not as deep. It is cumbersome to carry. The latches also feel like they may break in time. The next is the width of the smaller sockets. Quinn sockets taper for the majority of the socket while this has a small taper at the end. There are times when the extra meat could be a problem, but not often, and you should more than likely be using a 3/8 set in those cases anyway. Last is the markings. The vevor have painted and stamped size labels, but they are very small. I would prefer large labels to easily see what size I’m grabbing. If I were going to use these at work I would think about stepping up to something like a Quinn, gear wrench, capri, but for mostly removing wheels and stubborn suspension components, these will do the job perfectly fine.
