I bought this 3/8 impact socket set to use with my Milwaukee 3/ stubby impact. I've been using it for the past 3 weeks. The sockets fit well onto nuts and bolts. I'm impressed with the quality of the swivel sockets. The torx fit excellent in fasteners, no slop. I work on a lot of Audis & BMWs, pulling car parts from parts cars and junk yards it's good to have something low cost and effective to keep in my trunk. For the $83 I paid in total, I doubt you'd find anything better or more complete than this set. I mostly work on my personal vehicles and I'm not a shop mechanic running them every day but for me it was a great buy. The sockets are coated in oil to prevent corrosion while shipping/storage and the finish & etching is pretty good quality. The case is nice and everything fits well plus it has metal clasps. My others have the plastic clasps. I have 2 other sets of their impact sockets, a 1/2in set & one that is a combination of 3/8& 1/2. Its a great starter set for anyone that needs both SAE &Metric shallow and deep 3/8 impact sockets and various length extensions. You wont regret buying this

These are Cr-V sockets, not really for impact use (there's a 1-star review for a snapped joint). It'd be dangerous to use with an impact wrench or a breaker bar. My usage is a backup set for a chrome set, only with hand or powered rachets. So this should be fine. The sockets have thinner walls than ICON thin-wall sockets. They also weigh much less for even the Duralast (AutoZone) metric set which has fewer pieces (which are Cr-Mo). So don't use them for impact! The build quality is better than the Duralast set, maybe at Quinn level? Certainly not at ICON or Milwaukee level. The case is as bad as the Duralast one. Quite a few pieces went free rolling during shipping. But I got them at $30, so I did not expect $200 quality. Good price for a backup, cheap-in-trunk set.
