Well, it was not an out-of-the-box fit for my elevated round tub. I slid the cover on and opened it, only to find the plate half-in.😡 I took the plate off and ran over it several times to flatten it. I bought 2 small shelf brackets at Home Depot and mounted them under the overhanging plate with new holes and new bolts. Lastly, I attached the brackets to the foundation. 😄

To begin with, as many have said the directions leave something to be desired. For me this was not an issue but for others who are not used to assembling items, it could be a problem for many others. There is,however, a problem with the design of the fixed base. The aluminum nuts that are mounted to the base that allow the left and right base to mount with three bolts are not sufficiently strong. While lightly tightening one of the bolts, one of the aluminum nuts sheared off.. I have replaced it with a stainless steel lag bolt that went through the fixed base into the wood of the hot tub. I recommend that you make the mounting nuts of a more substantial size. Other than the mounting nut problem, the unit works very well.

Just installed and really like first impression. Easy to install and functions as designed. Here’s some quick notes to answer things I learned. I have a 84” round tub with 12” surround. I have a gravel base (which I dug out for the foot) and designed upper mount locations in my surround which made this easy. I included pics to show the mounting and pins they provide. Installation: It was very easy assembly with most time fitting it to my tub. The base needs to slide under the tub, or a frame, so you need to be empty to install it. There are two screws that go into the tub frame at the foot bracket and two screws for attaching the top of the lift to the hot tub. The top screws are essential. They provide a drill bit to allow you to move the screw locations, but find a good brace. Functionality: Detent pins are used for any height adjustment needed. This makes it all easy to install. There are 6 bolts on the foot which I recommend a screw lock like Loc-Tite. The adjustments are in 1-1.5” increments which is very good. Only complaint is the arms do not rotate inward when not being used. This would have been an A+ feature. Overall, this was the best price and delivery with a proven return policy. My third time on Vevor and it continues to be proven products. These are not the best on the market in terms of quality, but a very solid value. Now, will see how they hold up in MN winters next to a chlorine bath.

I am very impressed with this, it went together pretty easily and installed easily as well. Didn't take long and the hydraulic struts make it easy for anyone to use. Would strongly recommend.

The physical quality is great. The instructions could use a bit of tweaking. Do to the lack of clearance between the brackets and side of tub, bolts hd to go in opposite direction from instructions. Also the bottom bolt for shocks is too long by around 1/4”. Other than these few issues, works great!
