Plastic film is under screws that keep it together smells like plastic when on, screws dont lineup properly cheap

Damaged in shipping. Vevor refused to send me a return label and refund money. Days of jerking me around over chat. Had to dispute with credit card company. I will NEVER buy anything from Vevor ever again.

I was very disappointed in how it was delivered. It was damaged. The left rear corner was smashed and the bottom of the warmer was completely gouged

When turning on the unit, the controller turns on. If you set a temperature higher than the ambient temperature, you hear a click like it is turning on the heating element and a dot shows up to indicate it is heating. The fan never turns on and the heating element does not warm up at all. I submitted a ticket to get a refund or replacement. It takes 24-48 hours between responses and they said I have not proven the unit doesn't work. They want videos showing that it is not heating up and the fan isn't blowing. I recorded two short videos, but their ticketing system doesn't allow you to attach a video. I tried emailing the videos and the system rejected them. I uploaded them to youtube and apparently they can't view them. After a week, they have come up with every excuse to not send me a new unit or a refund. I have tried everything I can to provide the proof they have requested, but I am blocked at every attempt.

Try to keep it in the 90's for bread proofing..... gets up 117° and runs my bread. The temperature knob is wrong, it's 90° past off turned left! Quality, hmmmm not really. Imo it's not working for what I paid and what I wanted it to do!!

If you need to set this to a specific temperature and have it hold temp within a tight range of that temperature (I.e., 5-10 degrees), then this is not the model for you. I purchased this to hold finished BBQ at or around 150F. The product description states, "Precise Control with Added Protection: Offers adjustable temperatures from 80°F to 185°F." However, this particular unit came with a thermostat know with the following settings: Low, Med, High, Max. No way to set a specific temperature. Before attempting to return it for one with precise temperature control I tried it out to see if I could dial it in to maintain around 150F. What I found was with water in the integrated pan and trays of water on the racks (to simulate food mass), temps would swing by nearly 50°F. With the thermostat set to "Med," it would drop to 122 before turning on and would reach 172 before temps would begin to fall. This is no better than the gas oven in my kitchen can do. My experience does not align with that of many of the other reviews posted here, but I believe those reviews relate to models with precise temperature control, not the newer models with the "Low, Med, High, Max" knob. Vevor seems to show customer reviews for the entire range of Hot Box food warmers and concession ovens on the product page for any of the items. The reviews may not be related to the specific item you are considering.

We tried contacting VEVOR but didn’t get any response. My hot box is supposed to have low, medium, and high temperature settings, but even on the low setting it already goes up to 100°F, which doesn’t make sense. I would like to return it and get another one, maybe with digital temperature control. The return service has been very difficult, and I’m very disappointed with my purchase because I really need this equipment for my work.
