It’s a shame, it’s a great water distiller, but just over 12 months of use and I have cracks in the stainless steel where it heats up. This is not a thick stainless steel and has corroded where the hairline crack is and it rippled in other spots too. Buying another one cause clean drinking water is more important and I accept it comes at a cost of replacement every year or so.

The water gets a strong and unpleasant 'boiled' water taste. It is pure enough for applications where that kind of water is needed but the taste makes it a water I do not wish to drink, even when refrigerated.

Overall disappointing: product not as displayed, the handles and straps move around the glass cause the screws can not tighten up enough, plastic lid.. far inferior product the previous.. will not recommend

I liked that the distiller was stainless steel inside and out, although I would have preferred that the lid on the glass carafe was stainless instead of plastic. It’s a bit hard to remove the distiller top to fill the machine. I had to put it in a closed room because it is quite noisy to operate. But I could have lived with all that for the price, if not for the biggest issue and why I am returning it is that the water came out tasting metallic, so I was afraid it was defective. Distilled water should have no taste or taste good.

I would like to return the distiller. I know it has been a while since I purchased it as a gift, but the person who received the product doesn't wish to keep it. Can I return it?
