well made. great paint. very simple to put together. light duty. hinges are very short though. i welded extensions on the post hinge to allow the gate to open both directions.

Description of the product fails to mention. that this is a left handed, in-swing gate frame ONLY. It is not reversible. It otherwise appears to be a well designed & sturdy frame that can likely hold a heavy gate except the hinge mount that you screw to your post on which to hang the gate takes only 2 screws, close together & too near the edge of the post to adequately resist splitting out of your post. Not recommended as a result.

The advertisement and the instructions are different than the product that was delivered. The advertisement shows that this frame is designed for either a left side opening or right side opening. In fact, there is a photo showing a double door. The photos show a different type of hinge that was delivered. This frame is designed for the hinges to go on the left side only. Also, the instructions show predrilled holes that do not exist. Having said that, I was able to get this installed as a double gate with some \"jimmy rigging\". The frame is sturdy. Time will tell as to whether or not it sags.

This review is not about the product itself, but about the difficulty of the return process. I bought this alongside other options so that I could have several options on hand for my gate building project. This item was not a perfect fit so I’m trying to return it and the process is very difficult / unclear.

the problems started with some of the most appalling instructions (or lack thereof) I have ever seen. any instructions that contain 'start by drilling the pre-drilled holes' really do not inspire confidence (why would you have to drill holes that are pre-drilled?) There was a total lack of information on where / how to locate the hinges (on edge or centre of gate post?). My gate opening was only 76 inches (the kit is supposed to accommodate openings of up to 96 inches) and yet it sags. I have bought a strengthening device from another company and hope that this may make a difference and will never shop Vevor again Sometimes half the price does mean half (or less) the quality

Hinges are weak and bend easily. I don’t recommend this product unless you buy heavier duty hinges..
