I purchased this post hole digger about a month ago and just got to use it yesterday. It was a really good purchase! This gas powered post hole digger went right thru dry compacted clay without any problems. I was concerned of kick back and not being able to hold onto the unit - but very minimal kick back and made the job of planting the post so much easier. Dug thru 30 plus inches with no stalls or problems. Definitely would recommend this unit.

I drilled 26 3.5 foot 10 inch holes. Very easy to use, it’s still hard work dirt gets heavy. Unit is “gutless” so that’s why one person can use it without getting hurt. If you find a root or rock lift up increase rpm and push back into hole it will hurt you. Ordinary drilling finding a rock it rpm’s stop which is great. Only issues I found was the attachment is soft steel after about 20 holes it was hard to get attachments apart. Had to grind the mushroomed pin holes. Other then that great unit.

Couldn’t be happier. Throttle broke but it came with a spare. I’ll be keeping this tool for a long time.

We bought this post hole auger to build a fence. It worked great on the very hard clay soil that we have here. 7 holes dug in 20 minutes. We love it so much we are telling people how easy it was. GREAT PRODUCT.

I bought this machine to put fence posts in the ground , and add some chain link fence posts to yard. This machine I was skeptical case of the price but once I assembled it and mixed the gas with the provided mixing can it surprised me and fired right up and ran really good. When I did a bunch of posts it ate through the earth no problems nevermore I didn't have any rocks below just some gravel but it did the job I needed it to do. Definitely recommend for someone just putting in posts and such might even be decent for ice fishing ...I guess I'll find out.
