I used it once so far and am very pleased. First, it came very expertly packaged. Major parts had bubble wrap and were cushioned by custom made cardboard blocks and dividers. Assembly was very easy and they supply all the required tools. They also supply a spare spark plug and throttle lever. The throttle lever appears to be cheap plastic so the spare is probably in response to complaints. I put gas in it, pumped the bulb, and it started up easily. It digs well but like all handheld augers, when you hit a rock it yanks the handle out of your hands. I am a little concerned about the auger itself, it is only lightly welded to the shaft. Time will tell how well this holds up.

I got this auger to do my porch posts. After 29 holes this auger ran great! After the first hole I had to adjust the carburetor because it was bogging bad but after that it ran perfect!

The machine works well, has the power needed to do the job. We build fences and so far it has done a great job drilling the holes. I questioned if it would have the power needed to do the work because we are used to a 2 man auger but it does an awesome job. Well worth the money if it keeps preforming like it is now.

Don’t worry about it not being able to dig a hole. Gray clay and it’s been very dry dug 15 holes in about 30 minutes. Yes the throttle trigger is in an odd spot but for the price I can deal with it and mine came with an extra spark plug and throttle trigger in the tool kit. I checked the spark plug before using it for the first time and the spark plug wire had grease in the wire cap that’s a good thing in my opinion. 8.5 out of 10 in my opinion

Gas Powered Post Hole Digger, 52cc very impressed! put up a 100ft fence line at my camp in northern ont full of roots clay and rock etc ran perfect lots of power and easy to handle defiantly well worth the price made solid. remember to hold on tight this thing can dig thanks again vevor!
