.25x2x32 for 16x7 door weight 240lb
6.35 x 813 mm
Well my door which purchased from reputable dealer has been supplied with wrong springs from day one I always knew something was wrong, springs had to be wind up 44 quarter turns each just to be able to open it and than they would be hard to close it was awful ruined the belt on my opener I used it like that for few years. Anyway finally after some research and dealer refusal to supply different springs I wasn't going to buy their overpriced springs I ordered these ones, after doing some research this size springs were rated ideal for door that is 240-260lb. Very impressed they were delivered in 3 days one thing I was confused springs are marked L and R meaning right or left wind, initially I thought that meant left or right side of the door but again after some Google research basically spring marked R goes to the left side of the door when looking from inside and L goes to the right. Anyway very impressed after winding each side 30 quarter turns my door can be opened with 2 fingers and it stays where ever you stop absolutely perfect very impressed thanks guys hope these last I can't see why wouldn't they they are painted they came with pair of gloves and 2 winding rods it's a phenomenal deal thanks very happy.

Torque Spring Installed
6.35 x 813 mm
This brand had a good writeup and reviews, so I bought them. Mine were 250x2x32. I ordered both left snd right springs even though I only had a spring in the left side. I’ll keep the right one for another repair. Excellent price. Came with instructions, a wrench, and 2 bars for tightening the spring. The process was pretty straight forward. The hardest and most dangerest part was tightening down the torque spring. I’m not the strongest guy. Please note that each spring has a marking of either L or R. This is to let you know which way the spring is wound, not the L one goes on the left and the R one goes on the right. That was a little tricky! It was installed in a couple of hours. I have an 8 foot garage door, so I had to go 37 one-quarter turns for the door to operate easily. I hope this info helps someone.

Excellent replacement springs for my Crawford garage door
6.35 x 813 mm
I bought these torsion springs for my maybe 3m x 2.5m Crawford-brand garage door from 1980's or maybe 1990's, which had it's original springs all messed up since forever, and very heavy to open. Original / almost similar springs would have cost from 800-1000e / pair from Finland so I decided to give these Vevor universal springs a chance. I checked all around the internet for how thick wire and how long springs would be suitable for my door, and decided to order like 4 inches longer springs because why not, better that way. The shaft on my garage door was the same diameter as the spring ends on these have, I just had to make some modifications to the original Crawford-spring ends so I could adapt these springs to fit them. Also, I had to install these new springs basically mirrored when compared to originals, but after all trial and error, I got everything to work and now the door works better than it had ever worked. Before installation, I sprayed some PTFE-lubricant spray and twisted the springs to get the lubricant inbetween the coils, just to make less friction and hopefully to lenghten the lifespan of these springs, of course wiping the lubricant from the insides and outsides of the coils to not make surface sticky and attract dust etc dirt. All and all, I have been very satisfied with the springs and can recommend 5/5.
