Very sharp and durable

They work well for my use scenario. I put them into a chuck on the lathe to drill out a spot for the brass insert I use on wine bottle stoppers.

I had bought a more expensive set but returned due to not clean edges on cutting surface... These weren't as bad and 1/3 the price so I don't mind sharpening off the slight burrs. Ran true, great for lathe cutting holes.

but they do work. The machining and cutting edges on my set are about what you would expect. That said, The first one I used worked OK out of the box (it cut a hole!) and worked much better after some polishing and sharpening with a small diamond stone. If you are on a budget then go for it and do the tune up finishing work yourself. If you are looking for quality bits with fit and finish and think you can get them cheap then think again.

These drill bits are well worth the price, gave me a clean finish on this wood project that I have been working on, they fit perfectly on my power tool. I want to say that I will order this again but it appears I won't have to - these will last a long time!

This set has a good range of sizes, and the sizes are clearly marked on the shank. They aren't the best quality bit in terms of appearance, but they cut well and leave clean holes.

These bits are a little challenging to review. On opening, they appear to be fairly well made with no obvious defects, and in a case that seemed reasonably well made considering the kit's price point. On use, the bits cut well, though perhaps not as smoothly or as refined as some higher quality ones I have. After the first use I did notice one of the bits' finish was noticeably degraded, likely indicating a production quality issue on that bit. I did see another reviewer mention issues with size fit on extensions, and wanted to check for myself, and there is a bit of a problem; I did find two that were too large, and three that were small enough they had play. The other 11 fit well. This to me indicates production quality again is a challenge, and something I would be concerned about longer term. These bits simply don't seem to be super durable given the issues identified. That said they are good at their price, and for casual users.

Great set of forstner bits. They are well marked with the dimensions and are stored in a plastic case with a foam insert. The last set I purchased were just tossed into a cardboard box. This is a lot better way to store them. I have used a few of them and they work well. They are accurately sized and cut clean. My one pet peeve about forstner bits is that they always leave that little center divot at the bottom of the hole. These leave that hole, but it isn't a deep one like some bits I've used. The shanks all fit in the drill press chuck, and spin straight. This is a great quality set of bits.

I like the selection of bits they give you all the way down to a tiny 6mm bit. The bits are sharp and so far have held up. No issues with any of the bits and the finish quality is good. Happy with these forstner bits.
