For the price these fireplace tools are okay. The poker does it's job. The tongs warped almost immediately and will flip logs quite dangerously when you apply grabbing pressure. The stand is a little more stable than most, but it leans because it's front heavy with no support and once again no manufacturer has been able to come up with a decent and secure holder. The poker is precarious, always falling out, and will damage the floor. The tongs are a tad more secure on the stand, but we've just thrown it out all together and lay the tools on our tile hearth. This set is optimal for outdoor use as the tools are all so long which we did not see when purchasing, but that'sour fault. Not very easy to use on smaller indoor wood stoves.

Usually very pleased with all the products I ordered, but this one was flimsy the metal vent very easily and very quickly to the point that it is of no use to me. I don't think I would buy this product again.
