Good build quality. A rare find at VEVOR a 3KW spot welder that has 240VAC power input and hence a reasonable amperage draw. (Most VEVOR high power draw tools and equipment are for 120V AC requiring excessively thick connection cables.) do not put 6-50P 240V 50A plug on AWG 14 power cord - if there is a short with 50A Fuse/Breaker you have a fire risk. I suggest you sell that 240V spot welder without a cord carp/plug. For US applications a 6-15P or 6-20P 240V flat blade plug as well as a Locking L6-15P or L6-20P is adequate. Remember the continuous power draw is 3KW so it is less than 15A at 240V

I needed a way to join metal foil to a large steel mandrel and conventional spot welders didn't have the opening so my options were the battery welders or the stud welder. Since I had no idea how much power I needed, I went with the stud welder. I found that I only need the lowest power setting (on auto) using the chisel tip to join 5-20 thou mesh and foil together or to a mandrel. I had to make a grounding plate using copper sheet with a hole punched into it for the grounding strap. The copper sheet was backed up with an aluminum plate and some 1x4 for rigidity. The harder you press into the parts, the better the weld. A lighter touch causes a lot of spatter and burns holes. Complete off-label use for an autobody tool but it works a treat. I suspect the battery electrode welder would have had enough power but I think the electrodes the stud welder came with are ultimately a better fit to the application.
