I once built a 900ft farm road with driveway fabric and it worked so well I didn't need to touch it for ten years (super soft/wet soil; fabric; 3\" crushed; 1.5\" crushed; 5/8\" crushed rock). So when I needed to build a small driveway at my cottage I was delighted to find this fabric on amz. Long story short: I rolled the fabric over sand/some gravel. The gravel guy dumped 3 yards of 5/8\" over the tarp. I shovelled, racked and smoothed. Voila. Perfect driveway and no more potholes and sinking into the mud. Nor grass growing under the car and rotting the undercarriage. I used crushed rock. It locks together well and hasn't moved. Great stuff for small parking areas.
