With one eyebrow raised; I purchased this electric snake last month because I live out of town a ways and thought a plumber would cost more than the purchase price! It arrived quickly and within two hours the drain was cleared, she was happy again and I figured I got a FREE drain cleaning machine with the money I saved. Highly recommend.

I have been dealing with a stubborn floor drain since I purchased my house in 2000. I can sometimes keep it clear if I snake it regularly, but at times I have not been able to break the clog. At those times I have to call a plumber. This year I decided to look into other options. I purchased the 75 foot x 1/2 inch VEVOR Drain Cleaner Machine. I love it. It is easy to use and clears the clog easily. It paid for itself the first time I used it.

It worked well. It cost me $1,000 to call a plumber! this saves a lot of money. while it is perfectly workable, it can be improved: 1. The power cord should be protected better. During my first use, the cord touched the belt, resulting in the insulation being completely worn, copper wires exposed. (Electrical shock hazard: if you are using it, make sure the wire is kept away from the belt!) 2. The drum should have drain ports. the snake brought some sewage water back into the drum during the operation. when I restarted the spin, the sewage water spilled everywhere. 3. it should come with a guiding coil, so users can guide the snake during the operation. It is very hard to keep the snake in place while it is twisting in your hand.
